TIPS TO GAIN CONFIDENCE OF YOUR BODY

This part of the post is not like I usually share with you all. As a starter personal blog, I try to share my daily activities to my social media so all of people can see it and give me response. Its not that I'm seeking of attention, but I just want to share it what I've been through every time I upload / post photos or blogs.

For you that new with my blog, let me introduce myself quickly.

Hello, my name is Mariani Oktavia aka Okta, I run this blog that contains beauty and lifestyle posts. I have an Instagram (@iamoktaviamo). Don't forget to follow me if you are interest with it.

If you had seen my previous posts, maybe you can guess what topic I will discuss about it now.
As you can see from all of my pictures, I'm a chubby girl with height 149cm or 4ft8inches.
I'm short and lots of people especially my family always say that I'm fat.

I know people, I know that lots of you already pass this kind of thing.
But for you that still not pass this horrible judgement from people around you, I will give you some tips that can gain your confidence back and be who you are now and proof that you are lit!

1. Style Better
Well, its not a secret that when you have a plus size body, too skinny, too short or maybe too tall, it will be difficult to find the perfect clothes for us to wear.
The first tips for that is you need to learn how to style better and match it with your body posture. You can learn it from any fashion blogger, style blogger and youtube. You can find anything and learn from it. You can even check on instagram, pinterest for more inspirations.

2. Do A Bit Makeover
I mean not like surgery, but like a little makeover such as cut your hair, try to wear a little makeup to make your complexion more better, try to using skincare that match your skin so it will be help you to gain confidence. I have struggle with acne like forever, and now my skin is much better because I try to using skincare that match with my own skin type, I even try to change my hairstyle, for a long time, I like to having long hair, but its really not match for me anymore and one day I think that I need to stop to follow the other opinions about my style, and that day I went to salon and cut my hair short. I even try to colored my hair to bright color now, because I know what my style is, and I don't care about the other opinions.

3. Challenge Yourself
If you never wear a strapless bra before, you need to try to wear them. Even if you not match with wearing them because of your breasts were big, you still need to try them so you can know how is it feel to wear them. If you never wearing tight dress because of your body shape, you need to try it, you just need to find the perfect tight dress that can maximize your body shape. If you think that you are not pretty enough to gain more attention of the person that you like, held your heads up, and walk straight, it can gain your confidence and try to show more gestures that can show that you are interested to talk with him. If you hate heels like I do, try to buy some heels that makes you comfortable when you wear it. If you suffer with resting bitch face like me, try to show your smile to people you encounter, even its just a small smile or maybe a smirk. I know its hard to show your smile when you have RBF. Try to express yourself, show your true self but not all of them, because we need to make it a little bit secretive so people will be more curious about us isn't?

The conclusion is just be yourself, you are beautiful. You are unique, not all of the people are the same. Everyone have their own failure and success experiences, so just try more harder and step on the boundaries. Try to challenges yourself more, don't listen to the other opinions that can make you down. Listen to the people that give you advice to make you more better. Ask them about you change and let the world know that you are worth it.

Lots of love,
Okta xo
